DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh Announces 2023 Board Expansion

PITTSBURGH, March 13, 2023 – Bonnie Baxter, Founder and Executive Director of DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh, is pleased to announce the addition of four new members to its Board of Directors in 2023. "As we expand our programming, we are also expanding our organization to ensure that we are aligned to continue celebrating Pittsburgh and our mission", she says.

Marylynne Pitz is an award-winning journalist covering art, architecture, books, and history, with multiple accolades including five Golden Quills. She was a member of the news team that won the Pulitzer Prize for coverage of the Tree of Life shooting in 2018.

Dan Sprumont is a Marketing Tech professional currently working at Dick’s Sporting Goods. A longtime resident of the North Side, he volunteers with historic home tours in Allegheny West and other North Side neighborhoods.

Bill Callahan is the western Pennsylvania community preservation coordinator for the Pennsylvania State Historic Preservation Office (PASHPO). He has nearly 35 years’ experience working with federal, state, and local historic preservation programs in Pennsylvania, Illinois, and Nebraska.

Kimberly Reilly has spent over 20 years in the financial services industry in a marketing and communications capacity and currently works at PNC in Independent Risk Management.

Also new to DOORS OPEN Pittsburgh is Marketing and Sponsorship Associate, Lisa McGough. Her professional background boasts more than 25 years in television production, marketing, sales, direct mail, and digital design.
